My Boyfriend and I had a lovely romantic dinner at a very late hour after spending the day on the beaches of the Cote d' Azure. We asked a local (A German woman with a summer home) where she recommended, and she said "every restaurant was good." But upon further questioning of another German we met along the way he highly recommended "Le Bistrot."
All of the restaurants in this chic town are very expensive, with mostly full Menus, not a la carte, and those with a la carte plates were generally priced higher than the Menu option. Le Bistrot had a menu that highly interested my boyfriend. He has a great palate and gut for food, so I followed suit. It was an amazing dinner. From the bottle of House Red to the entree of creamy risotto with scampi, the main dishes of steak in an amazing sauce and a local fish to the owners home made fresh tart. Unlike many places I have eaten in France the service was extremely nice and helpful despite our lack of French abilities and their lack of English. The entirety of the evening was one I will remember for the rest of my days.

You would be making a terrible mistake to avoid this place. The best meal in mougins vieux village. Amazing food, amazing service. Consistent for 20 years. Blows away everything else.
